Membership Renewal
Additional Information for Full Members
Each year we will review your membership. We do not offer guaranteed automatic renewal and will look at each membership individually and make a decision with the bailiff team about offering you a position.
It is mandatory for you to complete a work party to qualify for membership renewal.
Our decision will take into a number of factors including Bankside Etiquette and general care and safety for the fish and the fishery, plus any rule infringements. A letter will be sent to your home address in January offering you a place.
If we feel that you should not be offered a place for the next season we will also let you know in writing. Our decision is final and there is no room for appeals etc.
Membership payments are due by no later than the 30th March. They can be paid in a single lump sum or split into three equal payments. The options on how to pay will be on your renewal letter.
We can no longer accept payments after the 30th March. If you do not pay your membership in full by the set date then you will forfeit your membership. We can also no longer accept payment by PayPal.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NO LONGER SEND PAYMENT REMINDER MESSAGES OR POST IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP
Once you have received and acknowledged your membership renewal letter it is your responsibility and yours alone to pay for your membership by the agreed payment date using the various payment options available to you.
If you were planning on paying cash but are unable to visit the Fishery Office an alternative option is visting The Corn Stores and leaving your payment there. If we do not receive your payment we will automatically cancel your membership.
In the past we have allowed for more flexibility but sadly are no longer in the position to do this.
